Key parts of UCA’s computer infrastructure are going to be upgraded. After the improvements we will enjoy a more reliable and robust service.
Between 20:00 on Friday 9th February and 09:00 on Monday 12th February the UCA Data Centre will go offline so the work can take place.
During the work you will still be able to use the following:- Office 365 including Teams, Outlook and OneDrive HR System Blackboard/MyUCA Any other Cloud/SaaS service
Solutions which are hosted at the Data Centre will be unavailable during the upgrade. This means you will not be able to use the following systems while work is ongoing:-
Student Records System Finance System Timetabling/Room Booking Case Management System E-Recruitment System Accommodation System Campus Telephony Campus Printing UCA VPN On Premise File Storage
Please ensure that you are logged out by 20:00 on Friday and do not make any plans that require access to these systems over that weekend.
When the work is completed a message will be posted here.

This scheduled maintenance affected: Corporate Business Systems (Finance System, Accommodation System, Students Records System, Online Recruitment System, Counselling System, Timetabling Management System, Room Bookings), Infrastructure (Data Centre Infrastructure Services, Telephony Services), and Digital Services (File Storage, Printing Services, Remote Access VPN).
